Welcome to Youth Exploring Possibilities 2023
We are excited to have you join us! There is a lot to look forward to this year. If you have
attended YEP in the past, you know you can look forward to exploring the community while
learning about recreational, leisure and future/volunteer options along with personal leadership
and self direction skills. Here’s what you can expect:

You are required to Self-Screen for Covid 19 symptoms at home the morning
of program. If you are under the age of 18, you may need assistance from a
guardian. If you are not well and are showing symptoms of Covid-19 please
stay home.
KW Habilitation follows the Ministry of Health and Public Health Guidelines. It
is understood that protocols and responses will change based on their
recommendation/directives.
Cleaning protocols are in place in accordance with Public Health Guidelines.
All shared equipment will be cleaned and sanitized between uses.
Family members are not able to enter the activity/home base. Arrival and
departure will to occur on the patio at KWH unless otherwise directed.
Cough/sneeze into your sleeve or Kleenex.
Wash your hands regularly and/or use hand sanitizer.
It’s important to clean up after yourself and to only touch your belongings

Please be mindful of the weather each day and dress accordingly. We travel
throughout Waterloo Region, rain or shine.
Proper footwear is important as we do a great deal of walking each day to a
variety of destinations. We do not use private vehicles for transportation.
It is also important to consider what you bring to YEP each day. You will be
responsible for carrying your own belongings while in the community.
Stay with the group -- be ready to walk and stay together.
Come each day ready to have a great time! Our leaders have worked hard to
make each week fun and engaging. So many fun and interesting things to do
and learn!!
YEP is an active program. It is important to remember the following:

What Can You Bring to YEP?
We ask that you keep personal items to a minimum. You cannot share what you
bring with friends. All personal items must be labelled. This includes food, devices,
and other personal items:
